The private educational institution of higher education "SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY (IUBiP)" (IUBiP) was founded in 1991 and is the first non-state university in modern Russia. Today, the University has more than 100 teachers and about 3,000 students.

IUBiP has a reputation as a stable, reliable and innovative university both as at the federal and regional levels. IUBiP is well known as a pioneer of the private education sector in Russia. For more than 30 years, the university has been training specialists in the economics, management, law, finance, information technologies and psychology.

IUBiP implements a multi-level system of continuous education: preparatory faculty for international students – secondary vocational education (college) – higher education (bachelor’s, master’s) – postgraduate studies – additional education programs (advanced training and professional retraining). The implementation of this model has acquired particular relevance in the context of the serious changes in the labor market.

IUBiP has been taking an active regional position for many years, initiating actual social and economic projects in our region. Significant experience has already been accumulated in implementing human development projects.

The university, is included in the international Eduniversal ranking, ranking 12th among Russian participants. The ranking identifies the 1000 best educational institutions from 154 countries. Since 1997, YU IUBiP has been a member of the European Council for Business Education.

Today, IUBiP is the largest private university in the South of Russia. Innovative projects and innovative technologies that the university implements allow us to engage in applied research to support the development of the Rostov region.
