IMBL is the first private university in the South of Russia. It was founded in 1991.

IMBL provides high-quality education. Graduates of the Institute receive two documents: state accredited diploma and European supplement which guarantees successful career in the whole of Europe.

IMBL offers a personal and flexible approach to each student. The Institute staff is made up of highly qualified individuals, including approximately 500 professors and lecturers, of whom 20 hold the degree of Doctor of Science and 4 are Academicians. The Institute provides training in five European languages, and some courses are delivered in English. The Institute uses modern computer and internet technology.

Thanks to the Institute’s Personnel Agency most students gain successful job placement and practical training during their process of education.

In 2006 IMBL signed an agreement with the South Western Bank of Russia, to provide credit for education, thus making high quality education more widely available.
