Admission Process for International Students

Southern University (IMBL) is looking for international entrants. We have students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. You can also become a member of our multinational studentship. We would be glad to assist you in getting visa and other registration documents during your stay in Russia as well as in admission process. Admission committee takes the decision about enrollment in the university by the results of entrance exams. In order to apply you should contact our international department to request letter of invitation for visa and provide Admission committee with the following documents:
 

• Diploma and its supplement (original or its notarized copy) *;
• Notarized Russian translation of the diploma and its supplement **;
• Copy of student’s ID;
• Copy of entry visa ***;
• 6 printed colour photos (3:4 centimetres) and its electronic version.

* In order to enter Bachelor’s degree programs you should provide us with secondary school diploma and its supplement.  In order to enter Master’s degree programs you should provide us with Bachelor’s diploma and its supplement or their equivalents.
** All translations into Russia should be issued in the name of a person mentioned in the entry visa. Attention! All translations should be certified by Russian notary. The documents could be translated on arrival in Russia.
*** To request a letter of invitation you should provide us with your personal data and a scanned copy of the passport.  It is important to remember that the process of issuing letter of invitation could take up to 6 weeks. The first visa would be valid up to 90 days and after enrolment it could be extended for the entire study at Southern University (IMBL).
